C. B. Scrignar, MD Forensic Psychiatrist, Author and Educator

Dr. Scrignar is a clinical professor of psychiatry at Tulane University School of Medicine and an adjunct professor at Tulane University School of Social Work.  For over a decade he was an adjunct professor of Law and Psychiatry at Tulane Law School.  In 1999, Tulane University School of Medicine established the Chester B. Scrignar Professorship of Forensic Psychiatry and annually sponsors the Chester B. Scrignar Lecture devoted to some aspect of forensic psychiatry.  Currently he is in the private practice of forensic psychiatry in New Orleans.
